Aia is a Tulsa-born author of paranormal romance and heartfelt horror. They won a santouku for the best knife skills in their culinary class, have been a theater stage manager, film extra, worked for an indie soap company, and lived/worked on a vineyard. Their favorite author is Billy Martin (formerly Poppy Z. Brite), with whom they share a birthday. They are interred in Oklahoma with their partner and fur goblin.
Aia enjoys translating folklore and mythology through a sci-fi/horror lens, creating genre-bending novels featuring characters who conquer their own limiting beliefs as well as physical monsters. They have four completed standalone yet interconnected novels, with more in the works.
Their debut short story, "Coin-Operated Boy," appears in Issue 014 of Dark Matter Magazine.

Aia is an Associate Member of the Author's Guild and Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, and an Affiliate Member of the Horror Writers Association.
