Aino Alisa Järvinen is a Tulsa-born ghoul and author of dark, twisted tales. After escaping the cult in which she was raised, and which nearly ended her life, Aino began writing to process trauma.
She won a santoku for the best knife skills in her culinary class, has been a theatre stage manager, film extra, worked for an indie soap company, and lived/worked on a vineyard.
In her spare time, Aino watches gritty international dramas, searches for books that meet her selective tastes, and collects media for art projects that rarely come to fruition.
She shares a birthday with author Billy Martin (A.K.A. Poppy Z. Brite).
Aino lives in Oklahoma with her partner and fur goblin.
